Founding website terms · provisional
Clear promises. Clear limits.
These terms govern the founding website and application forms only. They are not the final paid-session contract and should receive UK legal review before bookings open.
What Just Listen is
Just Listen is being prepared as an adults-only marketplace for paid, private, text-based conversations with trained human listeners. It is a distinct service and website. It is not therapy, healthcare, counselling, diagnosis, crisis response or professional advice.
Current website stage
Joining a list or submitting an application does not guarantee approval, access, a listener, a booking or a particular launch date. No payment is taken through the founding forms.
Who may use it
You must be 18 or over. The opening service is intended for people and listeners in England. Do not submit false information, impersonate another person, harass others or use the service for unlawful, sexual, exploitative or emergency purposes.
Listener applications
An application is only the first stage. Training, assessment, identity, right-to-work, safeguarding and Stripe onboarding checks may be required. Just Listen may decline or pause an application where suitability or safety cannot be established.
When payments open
Prices, session length, cancellation rights, refund rules, the listener share, platform fee and Stripe charges will be shown before payment. The intended split is 82% to the listener and 18% to Just Listen before Stripe processing fees, subject to final commercial and legal review.
Safety and removal
Content or access may be restricted where needed to protect users, investigate a report, preserve evidence, comply with law or maintain the service. Reports and appeals will be handled under the published safety process.
Legal completion gate
Consumer terms, listener agreement, privacy schedule, complaints process, cancellation/refund rules and Online Safety Act procedures must be legally reviewed before the marketplace accepts payment or opens private messaging.
